ABOUT MRS. WRIGHT
Hello!!! I grew up in College Station and graduated from Consol. I fell in love with the Education program at SHSU, and after a couple of years of commuting back and forth, I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on grades 4-8, English, Language Arts, and Reading. I am also certified in General Ed, 4-8th grade.
Because of my wonderful experience as a student in CSISD, I knew that I wanted to be a part of that same district as a teacher!
My husband, Jesse was also a graduate of Consol and a proud member of the Aggies, with a degree in Journalism. We have been married for eight years.
We have two children, Cooper and Piper. Cooper will be seven years old in December, and Piper will be five years old in January. Our hands and hearts are full, and we couldn't be happier about it! We also have the best dog in the world, Kirby. I will be sharing silly stories about my family often.
Besides my love of family and friends, I am in love with Target, chocolate chip cookies, reading, pasta, and all things education!
Teaching is a passion of mine that I hope shows through with the lessons being taught in the classroom. I am a big believer in relationships and the students taking ownership in their hard work. While I have very high expectations for all students, I am always here to help guide them in the right direction
I am looking forward to being your child's 5th grade English teacher for the- 2017-18 school year.
The best way to reach me is by email at awright@csisd.org.

These are my two kids, Cooper and Piper. I am still amazed that I was able to get them to smile at the same time.
